1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using Chordial ("Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
2. Description of Service
Chordial is an AI-powered service that generates MIDI chord progressions and musical loops based on user prompts. The service provides both free and paid subscription tiers with different usage limits and features.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
4. Credit System
Our service operates on a credit-based system. Free accounts receive 10 one-time credits. Paid plans include monthly credit allowances that reset on your billing cycle. Credits are consumed when generating musical content.
5. Intellectual Property
You retain ownership of the musical content you create using our service. However, you grant Chordial a non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, and analyze your prompts to improve our AI models and service quality.
6. Prohibited Uses
You may not use the service to: (a) generate content that infringes on others' intellectual property, (b) create harmful, offensive, or illegal content, (c) attempt to reverse engineer our AI models, or (d) violate any applicable laws or regulations.
7. Payment and Refunds
Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance. You may cancel your subscription at any time. Refunds are generally not provided for unused credits or partial billing periods, except where required by law.
8. Service Availability
We strive to maintain service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate the service for maintenance, updates, or other operational needs.
9. Limitation of Liability
Chordial shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
10. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service, to understand our practices.
11. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of significant changes via email or service notifications. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to the service will cease, and any outstanding obligations will survive termination.
